Custom printed wall tiles and murals workshop

This workshop uses a UV flatbed printer (a machine that prints ink straight onto flat, hard surfaces and dries it at once with ultraviolet light) to print custom designs on plain ceramic wall tiles. Products include kitchen wall murals, pooja room panels, family photos, name plates, and designs for cafés, clinics and shops.

Ceramic tiles and sanitary goods are East Delhi's official "One District One Product", and the trans-Yamuna belt has many tile and sanitaryware traders serving the building trade across Delhi and its suburbs. Most of them sell plain tiles that buyers compare only on price. A printed range gives these dealers something different to show, and you can buy plain tiles from them close by.

You need a workshop with steady power, the printer, a clear-coat spray setup, design software and someone good at preparing artwork. Be honest with buyers: printed tiles suit walls, not floors, because the print can scratch under heavy wear, so coat them well and test them for water and cleaning. The hard parts are the high cost of the printer, breakage in delivery, and finding enough orders to keep the machine busy.

Put sample boards in dealers' showrooms, visit interior designers and architects, and post finished work on social media to reach homeowners.
