This workshop makes worn furniture look new again. You collect sofas, dining sets, beds and chairs from homes, fix loose joints, strip and re-polish the wood, re-cane chair seats, fit new foam and fabric, and deliver them back. You can also buy old teak or sheesham pieces from house clearances, restore them and sell them online.

You need a small shed with a separate polishing corner, hand and power tools, a compressor and spray gun, an upholstery sewing machine, and a hired tempo for pickups. The hard part is pricing: every piece is different, so quote from photos, confirm the price after you see the piece, and take an advance. Polish fumes and wood dust need good airflow, and pieces must be wrapped well for the road.
