Uniform and workwear stitching unit for offices and factories

This unit designs and stitches uniforms and workwear under its own label: shirts and trousers for office support staff, jackets and coveralls for factory staff, and uniforms for security guards, hotel staff and hospital staff. Repeat orders from the same buyers each year give it steady work.

Gurgaon has both halves of this business. Its garment export cluster, around Udyog Vihar and IMT Manesar, means trained tailoring staff, cutting masters and suppliers of fabric and trims are close at hand. You need industrial sewing machines, a cutting table, a small team with good finishing skills, a clear size chart and fabric samples to show buyers. The hard part is winning the first contracts: bulk buyers compare prices hard, ask for samples and may pay late. Getting sizes right and delivering on time matter more than fancy design.
