This is a small tour service that runs planned day trips from Ranchi city to the waterfalls around it. You hire a car or minibus for each booking, send a trained guide with every group, and sell fixed routes: one day for Hundru, another for Jonha and Sita falls, another for Dassam, each with a stop for a local lunch.
Ranchi is often called the city of waterfalls. Hundru, Jonha and Dassam all lie within the district and draw crowds during and after the rains. You need a registered business, tie-ups with drivers who hold commercial permits and insurance, and guides trained in first aid. The hard part is safety and season. The pools below these falls have strong currents, and visitors have been swept away and drowned, so your guides must keep groups back from the water and follow every warning from the district administration. Most visitors come from the monsoon to the end of winter, and few come in the hot summer.
