Beed has a substantial custard-apple (sitaphal) belt, but the fruit is intensely perishable and crashes to near-zero farmgate prices in glut, while value sits in stabilised pulp available off-season. This unit captures that: mechanical and hand deseeding, pulp extraction, and IQF or blast-freezing into food-grade packs, plus optional ready dessert mixes. It builds on the district's custard-apple and cotton agri base and targets the raw-fruit-to-frozen-pulp-and-desserts gap. The buyer logic is strong because supply is the bottleneck industry-wide: ice-cream and kulfi makers, dessert and bakery brands, HoReCa, and exporters pay a premium for clean, seed-free, microbiologically safe frozen pulp they can use year-round. Honest constraints: the harvest window is short, so the line must run hard and cold-chain must hold from the start; deseeding is labour-intensive and sets yield and cost; and FSSAI plus microbial and browning control decide whether a food brand qualifies you as a vendor. Cold-storage power reliability is a real operational risk. Start with bulk frozen pulp for one or two industrial buyers, then add retail dessert packs. Buyers: ice-cream and dessert manufacturers, HoReCa, exporters, and D2C. The capex covers pulping, IQF/blast freezing, cold storage, and harvest-window working capital.
