Bundi's NABARD credit plan for 2023-24 estimates about Rs 5,457 crore of lending potential. It is overwhelmingly a farming district: agriculture accounts for Rs 4,793 crore (87.8%) and non-farm MSME for just Rs 409 crore (7.5%). The single biggest slice is short-term crop loans at Rs 3,392 crore (62%) - mainly rabi wheat and mustard and kharif soyabean, paddy, maize and urad.
