This unit assembles small household pumps under its own brand: self-priming pumps that lift water to overhead tanks, and pressure-booster pumps for homes with weak tap pressure. It buys motor bodies, stampings, shafts, castings and impellers from local suppliers and then winds, assembles, tests and packs finished pumps.
Motor pumps are Coimbatore's One District One Product, and the district is one of India's largest pump-making hubs, with hundreds of small component suppliers. To win plumbers and dealers you need steady quality, fair margins and quick replacement under warranty.
