NABARD's Potential Linked Credit Plan for Medchal-Malkajgiri (2023-24) sizes the district's bankable credit opportunity at Rs 8,548.03 crore. This is an unusually urban, industrial district (91.5% urban), so the split tilts hard toward industry: MSME alone is Rs 4,983.54 crore (58%), while all of agriculture is Rs 1,914.97 crore (about 22%).
