Branded chemical-free jaggery (gur) unit

Baghpat sits in western UP's dense sugarcane belt, but most cane goes to mills or loose, sulphur-treated mandi gur that fetches commodity prices. The honest constraints: crushing is seasonal, so the operating model must concentrate production in the cane window and warehouse for year-round sale; sulphur-free clarification is finicky and sets quality; and consistent colour, moisture and FSSAI compliance decide whether a modern-trade buyer reorders. Start with jaggery powder (easiest to standardise and ship) before cubes and specialty blends. Buyers: NCR organic and health-grocery chains, D2C food brands, and gifting. The capex covers a clean crushing-and-clarification setup, powder and pack lines, and working capital for the harvest-concentrated cycle.
