This is a one-person service for dairy farmers. You ride to villages on a motorbike and give cows and buffaloes artificial insemination (placing frozen semen from a good breed bull into the animal so she gets pregnant). You also do basic first aid and pregnancy checks, and call a qualified vet when an animal is seriously ill.

The same plan says the district has many poor-yielding local cattle and too little veterinary care, and asks for doorstep breeding and animal care. You need a recognised training course for insemination technicians, a liquid nitrogen container to keep semen straws frozen, a kit and a motorbike. Buy semen only from government or approved sources. The hard part is trust: farmers judge you on how many animals get pregnant, and a missed heat costs the farmer weeks of milk. You cannot prescribe medicines like a vet, so stay within your training.
Get known through milk collection centres, dairy cooperatives, feed shops and village heads, and answer calls early in the morning.
