West Singhbhum's NABARD credit plan for 2023-24 sizes the district's yearly lending potential at about Rs 1,507 crore. Farming and allied work make up the biggest slice at 43% (roughly Rs 652 crore), with small business (MSME) next at 23% (about Rs 350 crore); the rest covers housing, education, exports, renewable energy and informal group lending.
