Drop the vague mining-services-plus-tribal-craft mashup and commit to the district's real agri strength: turmeric. Shahdol grows turmeric across its tribal forest belt, but most of it leaves raw as unpolished fingers to traders who capture the polishing, grinding and branding margin elsewhere. This unit builds on the Turmeric and tribal forest produce atom and captures the raw → polished fingers / powder / curcumin extract gap, running a boiling-drying-polishing line plus a grinding-and-packing setup that produces clean, graded, curcumin-tested turmeric powder and whole polished fingers under a single-origin tribal-sourced brand. The honest constraints, consistent with the modest capex and payback, are real: curcumin content varies by lot so lab testing is essential to make a quality claim, polishing and moisture control determine grade, dependable aggregation from scattered tribal growers (ideally via SHGs or an FPO) is the supply backbone, and FSSAI and Spices Board registration gate the better markets. Buyers: spice brands and wholesalers, ayurvedic and nutraceutical ingredient buyers, and D2C single-origin retail. Other tribal forest produce can feed a graded-MFP line on the same facility later.
